yes i changed the blog skin! it's spring time nao so i  shall take all autumn/winter-y stuff away and replaced with some vibrant color :D:D:D feel so happy looking at it lol

i have a secret fetish for dessert and have been hoping to find a decent patisseri in JB but apparently there is no sight of it yet :( so this MACO shop got added to my visit list the moment it was spotted!

finally i dropped by on one fine Saturday..

simple food & beverage preparation area. the deco is also more of simple and clean style. 

cozy and comfortable place for high tea

there are limited number of tables and they were mostly occupied by the time i reached during lunch hour O.O

nice cafe latte.

i like to order cafe latte at my first visit to a cafe. reason being cafe latte can hardly go wrong hence it is sort of an indicator of the coffee quality. there is nothing to anticipate of if they can't even make a cup of good latte.

there weren't much choice of main dishes and basically there were only quiche and pie to choose from.

Chicken, Ham & Mushroom Quiche [chef's recommendation]

was very disappointed by the quality considering the price i paid for. it was not awful but there was nothing close to quality. 

a friend of mine tried the pie and it was not very well-received either.

the salad with lemon balsamin vinaigrette dressing was pretty appetizing though.

Rum & Raisin Mille Crepe Cake

after trying, i'd say i'm just not a mille-crepe person

the taste and texture resembled that of the famous Nadeje mille crepe cake but it was a tad too creamy and bland to my preference. it worths a try for mille crepe lover ;)

Mini SG Food Trip

it was an impromptu trip to Singapore with miss choco, who called me the night before and i steadily fixed our food date for the next day! the trip was pretty short hence we only managed to visit two places, all around Ann Siang and Duxton Hill.

i'm missing the days when we walked around different places hunting for nice foodies :'(

well they sell pretty cake too but photo-taking was not allowed :( did not buy any cake as they didn't look fresh.
