and i am not even aware of it until i clicked into my own blog and saw the date of the top entry and was stunned for 5 seconds. 2 months has just passed liddat?????
possibly something is not right with the time. or the calendar. and i can't believe i took three corrections to get the right spelling of CALENDAR. -_-
Feb was a rather short month and mostly occupied by CNY stuff. I got really pathetic amount of ang pao this year coz very very very very unfortunately my mom had just recovered from the horrifying chicken pox days week before CNY hence she chose not to visit any relative so as not to spread the virus (?) to them. Obviously no visit = no ang pow T_______T
and apparently nobody dare visit our house as well since no one would want to bring the virus back and spread to their kins so ya, another ang pow source got blocked again T___________________T.
MOMMY, Y U NO GET CHICKEN POX EARLIER??
i couldn't believe how my last chance of getting ang pow would turn out to be so bad. /.\
Apart from CNY, there is another reason to love Feb coz' it was the boy's birthday! So happy that it was a Saturday therefore more time to spend together. :)
Originally we wanted to have a nice breakfast but unfortunately failed to wake up early =______________________= so had lunch at our favorite restaurant Sweet Water which serves Mediterranean cuisines.
We only patronize Sweet Water on special days as the pricing is at the high side that we do not want to splurge on that during normal days. The set lunch is highly recommended and is simply the must-order because the 3-course set meal costs only a portion of an Ala Carte item!
So we ordered 2 different sets that day, RM38++ each.
Freshly made bread
Appetizer A
Smoked Salmon and Beet Root Salad with Honey Dressing
(ps: it was originally a beef dish but we do not take beef. the chef was accommodating enough to swap the beef with salmon so we could have different appetizer.)
Appetizer B
Spanish Babyoctopus, Arabiatta Style
Main A
Moroccan Lamb Shank with Kipfler Potatoes and Chick Peas
Main B
Baramundi Fish Set on Cous-cous of Vegetable
Dessert
Warm Bread and Butter Pudding with Gelato
Illy Coffee

I would love to have such a gigantic wall mirror in my own house one day. :)
Menu FYI.
You are welcome.
Look at the price and you will know how value-for-money the set lunch is.
I've tried one of the Ala Carte items before and proven that the mains of the set lunch were equally good. I am really glad that the quality has not been compromised for the price. I was always looking forward to the next visit at the end of each meal i had there.
No comment on each dish because everything was SO yummy! Even the bread. I can have it everyday i swear. If they ever start selling in individual loaf i will definitely buy it!
Also, notice the perfect lighting of my photos? I did not edit a single of it - thanks to the see-through roof top the restaurants has equipped with. It has undeniably contributed to a nice ambience for a perfect lunch. The restaurant is air-conditioned so no worries about heatiness unless you are sitting under direct sunlight.
and i'm hungry now so gonna go to bed.
how do i live without u, 12.12am.
