Johor Premium Outlet

so the long awaited outlet village is finally here!!! there's no need to fly all the way to europe/usa anymore just to get discounted items from various luxury brands such as Coach/Burberry/Gap/Salvatore Ferragamo/Lacoste/DKNY/Guess/La Senza etc etc etc. i know you guys are just as excited as i do!!!!!!!!The grand opening is actually on 11th December, thanks to leewang i've gotten the chance to visit this outlet village even before the grand opening :) you might have realized that i called it a VILLAGE since it does't really look like a shopping mall to me. my mom said the setup of the entire place is actually pretty similar to the outlet mall at Bangkok. I've never been there before thus there is no comment on that. The design on this JPO is rather Malay style imho. In general, there are a total of two storeys and the outlets are arranged in a row starting from one end to another. Within the spacious compounds, there are plants everywhere which more or less have enhanced the relaxing atmosphere for better shopping experience. Good news to the elderly (and bf/husband/guys), there are also chairs set up at various spots to grant the tiring feet some rests after non-stop shopping walking. how considerate the management is!Apart from a series of fashion stores, there are also quite a number of food establishments to ease your hunger. but i guess all shopaholics may be too busy shopping to feel hungry lol. Or, simply can't afford to stop for some foods considering all the great bargains do not wait! Visited Starbucks and i kinda like it - for the spacious area to chill your time away ;) bought a caffe latte and for the first time i was offered to take a sip to check if i'm happy with it - he's all ready to get me a replacement in the event that i'm not satisfied with my drink. all that's really nice of him! this may be common to any of you but it was my very first encounter!Didn't really snap a lot of pictures since the compounds look more or less the same every where. There are also not much photos within each outlets due to the fact that i was just too feared of being warned not to take photo within the premise -_-
1/
taken from the car park. the car park is pretty big and one thing to note is that they provide buggy service to send you right to your car.

2/
Burberry spotted!!!!!! awwwww it's my most anticipated store in JPO!!!!!!!

3/
Coach has also landed in Malaysia!!!

4/

Coach window display.

5/

6/
Tommy Hilfiger wasn't open today :((

7/
BONIA!

8/
WOOT! spotted the sight of my favourite George & Dragon!

9/
Vincci store

10/
still Vincci store.

11/
lots of shoes on sale in the Vincci stores at great bargain.

12/
lots of accessories on sale too. however there isn't much discount on accessories considering it as an outlet stores.

13/
decent shoes on sale at Vincci.

14/
Padini store at 50-70% price slash.

15/

16/
Starbucks Coffee in one corner of JPO. its competitor Coffee Bean is just one story away.

17/
Charles & Keith reduction.

Having stayed in Singapore for quite some times, i didn't expect that always-on-sale local brand to be sooooo highly-priced in Malaysia. Price of discounted shoes ranges above RM80 for heels

18/
one small corner in Burberry.

did i say most items are going at 50% off?

19/
the food court spotted just before i was about to leave.

that's it for the JPO first visit.

okkkkk i'm rushing off for a training naooo. will add on caption later on!

UPDATE 2/12/2011:

Wow so nice to have a Johor premium outlet like that. If only we can have something like that in Singapore. It'll be so awesome!
