Happy Birthday!

today is my mama's birthday!

thanks to the exam i managed to be at home today :)

intend to have curry fish head for dinner tonight 'coz i love it! oppss... shud be my mama loves it! :D at the same place i can get a piece of cake for the birthday song singing session too! i'm so broke that i can only afford one piece of cake.......... jus kidding lar! lol my mama doesn't really like cake so do the other family members. therefore buying a whole cake is equivalent to bringing disaster to myself -_-

i started celebrating my parents birthday 3 years ago, after i had started seeing leewang... his family members celebrate everyone's birthday together every years. no kidding they really do that! although the celebration is not tat unusual but rather simple, but the most precious thing is the willingness to do that. so i was inspired! :D for the first time in 2006 i celebrated the birthday of my parents. they are the 10000% traditional chinese who don't reveal their inner feeling easily. i could tell the happiness from their smile when we were celebrating. it's simply touching.

they tried all their best to make their sons and daughter happy when they were young. it's now the time for me to put in a little efforts and make them happy in this very special day of theirs throughout the year.

exam is around the corner, to be exact, it's coming in 6 days. 6 DAYS?!?! had only one month lesson then here comes the exam -_- this is simply how the block module works - having only one module at a time and finishing everything that is to be completed within 1 month. but it's pretty good coz i could just dump away any not-so-fun module in one month's time! :D


lesson ended 12pm today.
headed to somewhere at bukit timah to have lunch with the leaving prof. i tot we would be having meal in an indian restaurant as we were told tat we'd be having indian cuisine. eventually we ended up in an mamak-like restaurant -_- basically there were indian/malay/chindian foods to be chosen from. CHINDIAN! WOW! for the first time in my life i knew the existence of such word O.o

coz malay nvr eat pork and chinese loves pork so much. :D

travelled for hours and finally reached my warmest home. you wouldn't know how tired i was carrying the 3kg bulky item : / while resting i set up my lappie and unconsciously keyed in facebook.com in the address bar -_- i thought i would at least flip thru my textbook tonight but........apparently i've done nth except browsing thru webpages like an idiot. i do think that random net-surfing it a rather idiotic activity 'coz it doesnt require any intelligence does it? as long as you have fingers and you're not blind you can net-surf! simply type in the address and hit enter, you can just stare at the webpage and receive any information given in the website without having to pay much effort. illiterate? millions of picture are awaiting to be googled -___- can anyone save me from being sooooooooooooooo lazy of studying?


leewang's not coming to my house tomorrow morning.sigh.saturday morning without him is just like a normal day :( well, it's more like sunday coz i dont have to go to sch =_= due to unknown reason his prof rearranged the class schedule to Sat. how annoying :( the prof must be single lar! 'coz doesnt need to accompany anyone so he/she has nth better to do except giving lecture. O.o but he will be coming to my place in the afternoon and we're gonna celebrate mooncake festival one week in advance! will be playing lantern at night at his new house :D i just realized this will be the 5th lantern festival that we've spent together! wow time flies~~~~~ and we're getting older -.- opppsss shall keep this to myself or i might offend someone unknowingly :p


oh ya....today is friday. some grand event is going on in sg! it's nth else but F1! to be frank i'm not a big fan of car racing so am not really excited over this event -_- but days ago my auntie showed me something tat wowed me :D

this is the 3 days walkabout set so there are 3 passes for Fri, Sat & Sun respectively. but the two passes in the photo are for Sunday, can be seen from the word SUN. fyi, fri is practice session; sat is the qualifying race and sun, the final race.

im soooooooo sleepy right now. O.o

Met up with leewang for dinner at Sakae.the $1 sushi is still on which i thought should have ended on 31st Aug?! their business tat day must be ultra good coz consumers were so kiasu they did not want to miss the last chance of eating $1 sushi at Sakae. to be honest i was one of the kiasu-er LOL

i was so tired that i dozed off soon after i boarded the train. the way i slept must be ultra ugly -_- luckily the train arrived was an empty one hence i got to choose anywhere i liked to sit at :D otherwide i wouldnt want to imagine how i was supposed to stand all the way from clementi to outram park carrying the 2kg organic chem textbook and the 1.2kg battery-less lappie on my hand. perhaps i should bring a trolley along next time -_-

bought these 2 books days ago at HMV citylink. buying books from hmv sounds so weird but i did get them from hmv! and look at the price - 2 for $20!!!! u might say it's because these are her old series tat explained why there were on sale. but i will prove u wrong coz the newer series like Shopaholic & Baby is also in the 2 for $20 list! i've been wanting to buy these books of hers since n years ago but the-always-broke-me was so reluctant to spend 50 bucks on 2 books so they were out of my collection of sophie's until that day i saw this great deal :D Fyi, books from Mitch Albom are available too!

the temporary easy life

surprisingly, i am able to update my bloggie at this hour :D
i thought i would be busy like nobody's business again this week but look at what i'm doing right now! lol
no practical today so i was released from sch on 2pm
went to leewang's place without informing him beforehand AGAIN and i even told him last night i would be having practical today in the afternoon
GOTCHA! :D
while he was busy studying for his test tomorrow, i killed the time by mugging the super thick Organic Chemistry textbookT.T
started this new module yesterday, taken by Prof Dave
his way of teaching is way too different from Prof Jameson
he expected us to read the text book on our own for most topics hence he taught in a way as if he had been left with only 1 hours to cover everything -_-
finished reading 80% of what i was supposed to read before leaving leewang's place at 7pm
reached home 1 hour later, took my bath and had dinner, and then
here i am blogging!
wow wow the life is so easy without reportsss O.o
will be having the first Food Chemistry practical on Thur, no doubt a formal report will be the must-do for this practical
u noe what, there's even a briefing session on how to write the formal report for food chemistry practical -_-
hopefully we are not required to submit the report on next day coz.....coz...
i'm gonna celebrate the 49th month with leewang tat day!!! T.T

my lovely miss choco left msia for france yesterday
was browsing thru her last batch of photos taken before leaving
most of them were taken on her 21st birthday party held on last Sat, which i definitely wouldnt want to miss out
those pics reminded me of the time we spent together during her 3 months summer break
although there wasnt much, they were still memorable
felt so sad when i saw the name of the album Time to say goodbye
time flies...3 months ended in just a blink of an eye
my tears rolled down my cheek while checking out those pics coz nobody knows when we will be seeing each other again
i know i'm gonna miss her much ♥


opps...just realized that i'm still left with the 20% reading -.-
better finish 'em before i step into the classroom tomorrow otherwise i bet i will hear him speaks in Alien Language AGAIN lol

都是受阿旺先生的影响啦 因为他很搞笑地拿了一堂中文课 让我也想念起华文字来了
我看除了每个月做给阿旺先生的卡片 我几乎都没有机会接触华文字了

今天心情很好 因为正式结束了Advanced Chem里面的Physical Chem部分
就是说全部作业都结束啦 来临的星期一开始Organic Chem
2个星期后考试 我就和Advanced Chem没有关系了
过去的两个周末都是和作业还有study guide度过 明天终于可以放松了！
所以今天心情很好 就约了阿巧还有数字小姐要一起出门
结果后者贵人事忙 最后只有阿巧奉陪
两个女人约在CS 除了逛街没有其他更有意义的事情可以做
后来回到她的家 两个人哈拉哈拉 还半逼半骗让她在明天一辈子一次的21岁生日会穿上那间漂亮的礼服 哈哈哈
开心的时光总是过得特别快 << 这句话是经典吧 -.- 不知不觉也8、9点了 阿旺先生就来接我啦 吃了晚餐和马麻一起看电视聊天 然后送虽然睡了一觉可是还是很累的阿旺先生离开 然后就打开电脑 然后就hotmail --> facebook --> blog --> comment --> blogspot

我有多久没有那么悠闲了啊？好可怜 T.T
今天真的很开心 和阿巧在一起正半天 想到她又要回去了还真是不舍

最近在忙什么呢
3/8开学 开始了为期1个月的Degree Preparation Programme
31/8 第一学期的第一天 正式开始上课啦
每天9点开始上课到中午2点 间中有一个小时的午餐
第一个星期有3个实验课 实验课隔天就要交报告
直到的时候每个人都难以置信 隔天交？！
几乎都是下午5点多才做完实验 隔天下午五点前要交上报告 扣除睡觉+上课+来回学校的时间 我不知道真正可以作报告的时间有多少
可是再怎么没有时间还是要把东西做出来啊 就这样第一个星期内交了2分报告
刚过去的星期一交了一份报告 还有一个好像考试的测验
这个星期还算是轻松 因为只剩下最后一份报告 比较难熬的就是听起来好像外星人语言的课
差不多80%听不懂 看了study guide还勉强知道发生了什么事 可是到了tutorial。。
为什么明明看起来很简单的chapter 怎么可以有那么难的问题啊？？！
挫败感破表 O.o
4份报告 大概就是我这两个星期的成就吧
成绩还出乎意料地不错 35/40 wor :D


今天才发现 我的相机里存了638张照片
638张！！！！！！！！！
我的天 -_- 我真的是忙到天昏地暗了
我看upload去facebook好了 省事！


hmm 3点半了 要睡觉噜
