in fact something was wrong with my firefox lately which made me so reluctant to blog
i've had enough of not being able to blog so juz now i tried to Google for my problem with the keywords 'firefox not loading' and millions of results returned -.-"
i clicked open a webpage tat titled 'What to do when Firefox Browser does not Start Up'
and there was this paragraph..

The best feature of Firefox is the support for 1000s of Add-ons to increase the features. Sometimes Firefox fails to start up because of some add-ons. When Firefox is opened, it runs in background and it is present under the processes list in task manager but is not listed under applications that are running. This is a common problem with Firefox and the solution is also simple.

my situation was exactly the same as described!!!!
hence i happily followed the instructions provided and the problem eventually got solved ^^v

i had officially graduated from Singapore Polytechnic last evening!
27052009, Wednesday @ Singapore Polytechnic

even ugliest ppl in the world would look nice in graduation robe lolz
you cant tell from the pic how HOT i was feeling at that time : /
nonetheless the thick robe did not fail to keep me warm in the freezing cold convention center during the 2.5-hour ceremony
hopefully 2 years later i will be able to wear the graduation robe again, but this time round with mortarboard :)

it was observed tat the bouquet of mine had seemed to be the biggest among all tat were seen tat nite :D
he planned to surprise me by intentionally not telling he was going
but due to some unforeseen events his plan was ruined :p
felt so good for being able to share this once-in-a-lifetime moment with the loved ones
i was so blessed :)


travelled all the way from my house to my school with mama
thanks my dear again for driving us to jb custom muakss^^
the journey took 1.5 hours in total, managed to reach SP at around 4pm
luckily i wasnt late as graduants were to be seated by 4.30 -.-"
the venue had been flooded with ppl walking around by the time i reached
graduands were busy taking photos with cliques everywhere
how i wish i had reached earlier :(


3 years hardships and endurance

besides the qualification, what i had gained at the end of my poly life was definitely the precious friendship

my kawaii-est DCP/2A/2B/3A/3B/23 classmates (the tallest one was my buddy-classmate)
9 of us = 2/3 of the class -.-"

without them, my poly life wouldn't have been this enjoyable and unforgettable
no doubt the memories that we've had together will be stamped in my heart for the rest of my life :)

first of all, there's smth i will need to correct regarding the sale period of TBS before i go into my entry today 
the storewide sale actually ends on 14 June 2009 whereas the one tat had ended yesterday was the special sale for members
sorry for misleading :p
btw, there's another good news for my dear readers

on coming Fri-Sun Maybank card holders, be it credit card or ATM card, will be entitled additional 10% discounts on top of all discounts, if i'm not mistaken

on the other hand, i will be having my diploma graduation ceremony on coming Wed, at 5.30pm =.="

it is plain-coloured, no printing at all as u can see from the picture
except that there is this wooden-like body shop logo which looks like this:

i guess the brown colour part is made of synthetic leather since TBS has been well-known for their 'Against Animal Testing' slogan
itz quite soft thus it wont pain ur palm when u are carrying it even if it is heavy
u all shud know if the handle is hard u will definitely feel painful while carrying this bag around
therefore a good handle is pretty important for a bag too

i guess not many of you have heard of Tsubaki as it is not commonly seen in jb market
there are two types of shampoo under this brand, the red-bottled and the white-bottled
the red-bottled was released earlier than the white, due to the great responses received they formulated another version, which turned out to be the white one
i tried both, in the end i realized the red one was more suitable for me
this was the promo pack i bought, it consisted of shampoo+conditioner+treatment
the treatment tube had a "Not for Sale" label on it yet this promo pack was sold at price higher than the total price of 1 shampoo + 1 conditioner
in other words, they charged the treatment for few bucks
cheating eh? lolz

feeling rather tired right at the moment
it has been 14hours since the water last came out of the tab
yes, the water has been cut-off without any prior notification for 14 hours!!!!!!
oh my....i'm gonna die of thirst if the authority don't resume the water supply within hours


my mom started bringing me lunch bento last week
for the first week my mom used to drive me home for lunch during lunch hour and send me back to office again before 2pm
one week later we agreed that this was rather troublesome for them to do this everyday
so my mom suggested she could bring me food and i would consume them in the office
this suggestion is fantastic as i don't have to suffer under the big sun for eating out
this was the 3rd bento from mama's kitchen :D

i bought a pair of flip-flops few days ago

i haven't worn the branded Havaiana flip-flops before but i bet flip-flops can barely have big difference, hence no point spending the extra bucks

i got my laptop upgraded yesterday!
increased the RAM from 1GB to the max 2 GB
happy happy :D

there were loads of things to blog about, too bad the annoying black-out took place just now
the electricity was eventually resumed 1.5 hours later, which was around 11pm
after i had regained the connection, the first i did was checking how my RC was doing
argh....i'm addicted to Restaurant City in FB :D
'coz i've just got my restaurant re-decorated, i wasnt sure if the way i arranged those furniture did work well in terms of maintaining popularity
in the end i realized i had made the arrangement worse and to my horror the popularity was dropping!!
i was so panic but at the same time i quickly rearranged everything and finally i managed to get the nice and efficient arrangement
letz compare!

this is my very first entry posted during office hour! :D
i mentioned before i couldnt blog in office 'coz there was no PS installed in this computer plus i din have a portable card reader despite having the SD card in hand
my blog would look superb duper dull with only these alphabets
so i've decided there's no way i will post any thing up without photo inserted from now on :)
im gonna import tons of pics if possible lols
somehow photos can be quite useful in serving as a decoration tool can't it?

i had fried rice for lunch on Wed instead of spaghetti, as mentioned days ago

not only looks nice, tastes fantastic too
snap bean + spring onion + chinese sausage + egg were added
i was soooooooooooo full when i finished 'em
i rarely order fried rice when i eat out 'coz i dont like
but mama fried rice is exception
i love it ;)


for the first time i had my lunch with colleagues i'm currently working with
went to Evergreen at Sutera Mall n i ordered 咸鱼鸡肉盅仔饭

it tastes pretty nice
the whole thing looks quite small but i couldnt finish 'em in the end
i simply underestimated the amt of rice tat could be contained within
dont judge a book by its cover O.o
i've been there with family for not less than 5 times, most dishes ordered received compliments at the end of each meal
curry fish head is known to be their specialty
even leewang n his family made their trip down from Tmn Sri Tebrau to Tmn Sutera for it ;)

gotta start hunting for face sunblock and moisturizer recently
the one i'm using now can only last for most probably another two weeks
researching for these products in internet, eventually Shiseido's product attracted my attention
this was the 7ml sample i requested from BA of Shiseido :p

Extra Smooth Sun Protection Lotion, SPF34 PA++
the BA recommended this for normal outdoor activities, the one with SPF38 PA+++ is more suitable for those going to beach
SPF38 for beach outing?! i doubt tat SPF50 is sufficient enough, let alone SPF38 -.-"
the texture is rather watery, not the very thick kind
smell-wise itz just right, not too strong to cause irritation to my nose
my skin type belongs to the combination group
after approximately 10 hours application only the T-zone had shown a shade of oil while the cheeks remained moisturized
i was pretty satisfied with the results
shall continue the trial for few more days and see how then~
another reason for considering this product is that it costs only RM125 for 100ml
in comparison with some other products, it could be the less costly one due to the large volume


i feel like living in desert the moment i stepped out of the office door recently
room temperature higher than 23 degree C can really kill
tatz y the temperature of the air-con in my office was set to 16 degree C with highest fan speed
there was this day in the office, i noticed that my skin of the back of my hand appeared horribly dried out!!!
gosh...i was stunned and nearly fainted
tats when i fully understood why most OL used to have handcream prepared
immediately i turned to the screen and brought the page to urcosme.com
there was such a long list of body lotion in the search results yet i only showed interest in sebamed
went to Watson/Guardian/Jusco to look for this product called Anti-Dry Hydrating Body Lotion but only Moisturizing Body Lotion was seen
how dissapointing :(
continued to search for another product since itz not available in the market
back at urcosme and surprizingly, i noted that the Moisturizing Body Lotion was even better-rated than the one i was eyeing for!

HOHOHO~~~
had my whole body applied with this body lotion soon after bath
the smell resembles that of baby products, very nice smell i would say
it could be easily absorded and leave ur skin smooth like silk :D
no exaggerating!
buy a bottle and it will prove me right ;)
rather exp though, 200ml at RM25.50
with the same amout of money paid one could bring home a 400ml Nivea body lotion ~_~

i enjoy the life of mine now

for the past few days i usually woke up at around 8.20am and headed off for office at 8.50am
breakfast of the day was always sandwich
i went for lunch at 1pm n would be back at office before 2pm
knocked off at 5.30pm SHARP everyday without fail :D
i have no choice lar...couldnt keep my mom waiting downstair coz' she gotta rush back home for dinner preparation
reached my doorstep within 10 mins, rested for a while before i took my bath
that's the benefit of working in company located within a stone's throw :D
started my hokkien drama marathon at 8.30pm and ended it 3.5 hours later and went to bed at 12am
how healthy my lifestyle was! lolz


leewang was supposed to pick me up for lunch today
but due to some unforeseen events he was unable to make it
hence i ended up skipping my lunch and watching variety show in pps instead-.-"

did not update my blog last nite as promised 'coz i was too tired to move even my fingers
i stuck to whatever thing i rested on T.T
actually first day of work was super duper relax, the only task given was to come out with 2 letters
i killed the rest of the time by playing farmtown+restaurant city+pet society+dynomite -.-"
without having to do anything, i felt soooooooo sleepy after lunch time >_<
i'd rather being given tons of work instead of staying in office without knowing what to do as for today, nth special had taken place
if i were to mention one... i had my lunch with leewang today!
the very first time in life he waited downstair my office for having lunch together ♥
n mom promised to drive me home for lunch tomorrow! :)


there was this 4-person-only mini gathering last Sat
ppl involved = me, leewang, yikxiang n junteng
we met up at somewhere near Sutera Mall for dinner and in the end we decided to go for Korean BBQ
this was what we had ordered
a RM80 set, enough for 3-4 pax, as suggested by the boss

but we ended up having.....

pork spare ribs + pork belly slice + pork belly slice in hot & spicy sauce at 3 pieces EACH
WTH!!
i saw more than 9 pieces in the menu okays!!!!
im 100000% sure tat there was nth wrong with my eyesight tat nite ~_~
feeling cheated, we had no choice but to accept the fact that each of the thick slice cost RM9 -.-"
the taste was actually quite good regardless of the ridiculous pricing
i like the marinade still :)
besides bbq, the other dishes were all costly as well
price is always the only setback for those bbq restaurant
why would bbq always cost us a big fortune?

these were the side dishes served FOC + free-flow

i was wondering why would my pics look so dim?
they were bright enough when viewing thru the camera's screen >.<

besides the pricing, there was also problem with the ventilation of the restaurant
they were supposed to install a range hood above each table to suck up the smoke so that it would not stink the whole space
the horror was..... they did not have any range hood -.-"
can u imagine? a bbq restaurant without a single range hood!!!
gosh...how could they have neglected such important part?
leewang suggested tat it all thanks to the stinginess of Korean
to cut cost maybe? who knows~
in the end all of us stank from head to toe >_<
in conclusion, no second visit. :(
after tat we headed to Old Town
stayed there until 12am+ if im not mistaken
got updated with news of yikxiang n his super rich gf
we were all entertained :D
