Saturday is the day i love most because i get to visit new eateries to discover ALL the delicacies :D
Apart from Chinese/Malay/Indian/Western/Japanese/Italian/French Cuisines, the eateries around JB area seem to be getting more and more international because now we even have the options of Mediterranean/Spanish cuisines!!!
If i'm not wrong this is the first Spanish restaurant i have ever come across with. To be frank i was quite puzzled by the name of it, Koco Loco. It is so not-spanish-y. =_=
A very posh-looking counter but the rest of the interior was rather simplistic though.
Gosh i actually snapped ALL the menu. Take your own sweet time to see through the following 11 pages.
You are welcome.
What we ate that day!
Pumpkin Soup | RM18/+
Coca de Pescadores | RM23/+
spanish flatbread baked with seafood toppings in rich tomato base
Pollo al Ajillo | RM16/+
sauteed chicken with garlic, olive oil and white wine
Cafe Latte | RM9/+
Rainbow Cake | RM9.80/+
Spot the gigantic coffee machine!!!
I would not say i like their foods as much as Sweet Water's but still this is one of a good option when you are looking at something new for your taste buds. The foods were quite good but i do not understand why their business remains so poor so long after opening?
So there was this day leewang suggested that we should go and patronize them again else they might close down anytime soon. =__________________= Not that we curse them on purpose but by judging their business on a Saturday noon and night, one could easily tell that they are seriously not doing so well. : /
So we returned and ordered Paella, the signature spanish dish.
Paella Valenciana | RM66/+
traditional Spanish rice cooked with seafood base stock with saffron, served with prawns, chicken, mussels, clams, peppers, peas
MUST TRY! It was good but still kind of overpriced imho.
i just noticed that the price stated on menu was RM56. Why was i charged RM66???
I am gonna verified whether they had overcharged or there was price increase. :(
Gelato in Hazelnut flavour to end the meal! | RM8
And weeks ago a restaurant offering MEXICAN CUISINES just appeared out of sudden in my residential area. The exterior of that restaurant is in different super duper vivid color and the paintings are all so...... indian style. D:
So i was quite surprised when i found out it was actually a Mexican restaurant lolol.
Gonna try it out soon! And hopefully it does not take another 55 weeks before the pictures are posted up here lolol.
how do i live without u, 11.35pm
